The Minga Foundation depends solely on the generosity of our donors. One of the best ways to show your support for our work is to make a tax-deductible donation. Your generous support helps us improve health and strengthen communities around the world.
But there are several other ways to get involved with Minga! By contributing your time and talents, you can make a big difference in the communities where we work. Here are a few things you can do: (If you have other ideas, please contact us)
Spread the word!
The Minga Foundation treasures the relationships that we build between our partner communities and our donors. And we are always looking for ways to tell others about our work. Please help us spread the word by reaching out to others in your community.
- Sign up for our newsletter and pass it along to friends and family.
- Follow us on Facebook and Twitter! Tell others about our work and help support our cause.
- Download more information and share it with your community. [Coming soon]
Donate your birthday!
In addition to flooding your wall with birthday wishes, consider asking your friends on Facebook to give a donation to Minga in your honor.
Give while you search and shop online!
Use AmazonSmile and Goodshop to do your online shopping and a percentage of your donation will go to the Minga Foundation! And tell a friend to do the same.
Say I Do!
Getting married? You can support Minga by registering with the I Do Foundation. From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts to charitable wedding favors, I Do allows couples and their guests to make wedding-related purchases that generate donations for Minga. I Do’s Charity Registry also makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts. Visit today and search for The Minga Foundation as the beneficiary of your charitable wedding. Host your own fundraiser!
Are you just dying to host a bake sale or car wash? We love to work with communities and groups of all kinds. Contact us to learn more!
Match your gift!
Many businesses and organizations will gladly match gifts made to non-profit organizations as a part of their social responsibility policies. Talk with your boss and co-workers about the possibility of having them match gifts/donations made to Minga. They might match donations up to a certain amount or during a limited period of time. Either way, it’s a great way to get involved!
Recruiting volunteers has been an important part of our work in Ecuador and we look forward to cultivating more volunteer opportunities with our future project partners. So, stay tuned!
